Nevermind the Neverborns

Generation X was born from 1961-1965 to 1980-1982. It is a much smaller demographic than those on either side, the baby boomers and Millenials.
Why?
Medical birth control and legalised abortion.
Who are the people who were neverborn? Who would they have grown to be? Would they have been criminals? Would they have been geniuses? Did we miss out on a Lennon, a Jesus or a Hitler?
